Who says so? We do. But we want to make sure you think about them as well, at least just a little bit, because your financial future is important. Is it important to us? Not necessarily, although we do like to hear good stories about people who own credit cards, especially more than one, and can keep their debt under control by making regular payments and not wildly overspending. We'd like to think we are the same type of people. But we don't want to live in a world where everyone is in debt. If you live in debt, and you teach your children that it's OK to live in debt, and your children start talking to my children, and my children know that debt is bad and overspending is not a good thing, my kids could be influenced by your warped thinking. I don't like to hear that. I don't want my kids running amok with credit cards in hand, saying "Buy now -- pay NEVER" in $600 vintage Air Jordan shoes purchased from some half-wit on Ebay. So keep you are your kids in check.
